Lisa Nelson is an E-RYT 500 and YACEP-registered yoga teacher with over a decade of combined practice and teaching experience. She was initially drawn to yoga through asana, but it was during her first 200-hour teacher training in India that she discovered a deep resonance with yoga philosophy, which has since shaped how she teaches and lives her practice.
One of Lisa’s guiding beliefs as a teacher is that we are first and foremost students. This has led her to complete several teacher trainings across different categories and styles, and she continues to study today. Alongside yoga philosophy and spirituality, she is interested in the biomechanics of the human body and enjoys traveling to experience new places and cultures. At Yoga Bliss Lembongan, she designs online trainings that prioritize accessibility, adaptability, and depth for both aspiring and already-certified teachers.
