Madhura Bhagwat

Madhura Bhagwat

Yoga Philosophy expert

Madhura Bhagwat has been on the yogic path for over 14 years, focusing primarily on teaching within 200- and 300-hour yoga teacher training programs. Born and raised in an Indian family, she was exposed to yoga philosophy, eastern psychology, Ayurveda, and mantra chanting from a very young age. Her aim is to offer authentic yoga and Ayurveda education in a way that suits a modern lifestyle, while passing on the traditions in their purest form.

She has worked as a director, course curator, and educator for 200- and 300-hour YTTCs, and has studied with both traditional Indian and Western yoga teachers. That background gives her a blend of Indian cultural depth and Western pedagogy. Madhura holds double bachelor’s degrees in Politics and Law, and also teaches on yoga, equity, and cultural appropriation.
