Online Yoga Studio describes its 10 Days of Meditation Program as being a gift to its yoga teacher trainees as it believes cultivating a meditation practice is important. The class will guide beginners just starting their meditation journey but will also help people familiar with meditation grow their practice.

The 10 Days of Meditation course is free, self-paced and can be accessed anywhere and anytime, plus there’s no expiration date.

Yoga Teacher Training

Online 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Online Yoga School’s 200-hour will give the aspiring yoga teacher not only their 200-hr RYT certification with Yoga Alliance. They’ll receive additional continuing education certifications in Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga and Ayurveda!

The yoga class is taught via live zoom sessions, although you can work at your own pace and on your own time. Plus, the class features ongoing mentorship and support so there’ll always be someone you can ask for help or guidance.

The extensive syllabus is designed so that students will be well-versed in all aspects of yoga. Here’s what you’ll learn:

To pass the class the receive 200-hr RYT certification, students need to keep a log of practice hours and conduct body assessments. They also need to write five complete sequences and either pass a final exam or finish a final teach project of hosting a yoga event such as leading classes for friends or family.

RYT-300, 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Online

Online Yoga School’s 300-hr YTT focuses on the 8 limbs of yoga: Yama, Niyama, Pranayama and Asana, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi. The course also includes teaching methodology modules and the Seva Project, where students teach a 2-hour workshop on a yoga-related topic.

To sign up for the 300-hr class, students must have completed or be currently enrolled in a 200-hr YTT program. Both classes must be completed in order for the student to register with Yoga Alliance to receive their RYT-500 certification.

As we said above, besides the coursework, students will work on the Seva Project. The word “seva” means “selfless service” in Sanskrit. Students will research, plan and implement a 2-hour workshop. The workshop can be taught online or in person and will cover any yoga-related topic the student chooses. If the student collects donations at the workshop, they can choose a charity to donate them to.

Continuing Education
